[Gpdd] Misc: Thank you, secret santa

[bradfolg at vt.edu]

This didn't make it to the digest, so I'm sending it again. Sorry!

Hello everyone and every pig.

It's been quite a long time since I've posted to the digest. We've had many
piggies come and go over the past few years. The Bradford Home for Wayward
Pigs is now down to six piggies. We lost our eldest piggie, Edgar the
Peaceable, two weeks ago tomorrow. He was another pet shop return, because
children had outgrown him. He was the gentlest piggie we ever had and was
always ready to dance and purr, for just a little rub on his back. We miss you
Eddie!

The Bradford piggies would lie to thank Checkers, Marilyn Monroe, Brownie Bear,
Q-Bert, Sundai, and Blackie Bear for the gifts they sent!!! By the time I got
there, the piggies had already gone through half the bag of hay. (The piggies
have their own room at my parents, due to my allergies.) We're saving the
treats (carrot salt lick and twigs for noshing) for Christmas. They've already
been playing with their rolling hay dispenser. We took a few Christmas pictures
with it last night, since including food in a picture is always a good
inducement not to run off!!! =)

Thank you so much to Sandi and her piggies who made my piggies Christmas season.
Sandi, if you'll send me an e-mail address I'll send you some pictures. =)

Have a good day, everyone!
