Hi everyone!
We sure hope everyone is enjoying this time of year and having lots of fun,
good food and laughter.
I wanted to address a few things that I have read while trying to catch up
on the digest. First, I wish to sympathize and send out hugs to all who
have lost a baby in the time since I have been on here regularly. I am so
far behind on here that I cannot possibly read all the Digests, but I did
try to catch up on at least this month's. It seems as though we have had
many, many passings lately. I like to think that they are heading to heaven
just in time for the big Christmas celebration, which I feel sure takes
place there. Just imagine it.... tables and tables of fresh veggies and
fruits and all the running, popcorning and playing they want! I know it is
hard for those of you who have lost a baby but think of how much better they
are feeling now and who knows... they may return to you one day in the form
of a new baby!
I am curious about something. After reading about the Blob, and I must
admit, I laughed at that name, do you think it's possible that piggies can
be autistic? I have a neighbor with an autistic child that I keep on
occasion and it sounds a lot like her. I am wondering if we can have it,
can they?
As to the peeing issue, I have had the same problems with my girls. Sam has
never refrained from letting loose on me but I did start to notice that she
usually did indeed wiggle her bottom a bit and back up before she let fly.
Or, in some cases, she would crawl up to my shoulder and onto the back of
the couch to relieve herself. Sigh. But, from what I gather, she didn't
want to go where she lies. Now Tabitha on the other hand, she never, ever
used to pee on me. But, that seems to be changing now. She will just sit
there and let go, much to my consternation. No sign, no wiggle, nothing.
And I can almost hear the snicker and see the grin as that river of warmth
runs down my chest and over my tummy! The little monster! But, she is my
precious Tabby and I can't complain about her. She is so funny.
We took the girls Christmas pics this week and I am going to get Earl to
help me post them to photo Bucket as soon as he tells me which pic is which.
At the moment, they just have numbers in the file names and as I can't see
to view the pics, I would hate to [put up just any old pic that may be on my
computer. That could get embarrassing!
Now, I have a health question...
Are piggies visually impaired too? Whenever I put my hand down in the cage
with some food in it for the girls, they will both run over there but one of
them, and I'm not sure which one it is, always starts about halfway up my
forearm, sniffing to find the food. Finally, she will get to my hand and
grab the tidbit. There have been times when she actually grabbed my finger
instead of the food too. I think it is Tab, but not definite on that one.
Sammy always puts her front feet in my hand and stands there, picking over
the goodies and grabbing the best for herself. She then runs over, drops
it in a pile and comes back for more. She will make herself quite a little
stockpile before she begins to eat. I know it's Sam because Earl has
watched her do this. Poor Tab! Just not fast enough yet but she will get
there.
That's all for now... We are working on a Christmas story and if I can
finish it in time, I'll share it with you all....
One more question before I go... I didn't see any posts from Joan. Did her
little one go to the bridge too? I loved hearing all about her little blind
piggy. I feel such a kinship with her . . .
Hugs, Happy Holidays and Whisker Kisses!
Lynn, Samantha & the ever wet Tabitha
