Jocelyn, Little John and Flashbang Fatbottom We were so very sorry to
hear that Fireball had given up his brave fight and decided to spend
Christmas at The Rainbow Bridge. He sounds as though he was a great
little piggie, and we are sure he will be sorely missed. He will
certainly have known how very much he was loved. Losing a piggie is hard
at any time, but perhaps particularly so at a time which is traditionally
for the gathering of families and being together. May it bring you some
grain of comfort to know that there are piggies and slaves all over the
globe who are thinking of you at this very sad time and wishing you well.
Run free, sweet Fireball, free from pain and discomfort and surrounded by
an endless supply of your favourite veggies. love from Debbie and the 8
Dolly Mixtures

"We patronize them for their incompleteness,
for their tragic fate of having taken a form so far below ourselves.
And therein we err, and greatly err.
For the animal shall not be measured by man.
In a world older and more complete than ours
they move finished and complete, gifted
with extensions of the senses we have lost or never attained,
living by voices we shall never hear.
They are not brethren, they are not underlings;
they are other nations, caught with ourselves
in the net of life and time, fellow prisoners
of the splendour and travail of the earth".
