Use the Oxbow Vit C from Amazon or Drs. Foster and Smith. You will have to
train to her to eat them. An alternative is to give her the chewable human
types. I try not to as it usually has Sorbitol (artificial Sweeteners) in it
that causes gas and cramps in people at too high a dose, and a poorly piggy
doesn't need any other tummy insults. More than that, I make sure Sammy gets
a Vit C food every day.

Look at what you are giving as a "treats" they may not be good for piggies,
may be too sweet or have fat, protein and hi carbs. Just be careful with
treat foods and artificial sweeteners. I buy Sammy an organic red or green
bell pepper one a wheek or two, or feed 1/2 an orange slice, or some other
Vit C veggies, Some are hi calcium so you have to do some research. Since
Sammy eats a higher percentage of veggies than I do, so I buy only organic
or grow it for him if it's on the high pesticide list. Go to the
Environmental Working Groups 12 Dirty Dozen page. Its lists the 12 worst and
the 12 best fruits and veggies for pesticides. The 12 worst I buy organic
and the 12 cleanest I buy regular as long as it isn't a GMO grown food
(different lists). I hope it's a recipe for health, I count on it. They have
a list of 100 if you want to get into it more. The 12 worst are:
1 Apples,, 2 Celery, 3 Sweet bell peppers, 4 Peaches, 5 Strawberries, 6
Nectarines - imported, 7 Grapes 8 Spinach, 9 Lettuce, 10 Cucumbers, 11
Blueberries- domestic, 12 Potatoes, Plus Green beans & Kale/Greens as they
may have a particular pesticide, Go here to get the 12 cleanest and worst:
