[Gpdd] Peter Gurney: March 9th is the Big Day!

This is Oliver!  I'm one of the official organizers for the Peter Gurney Candlelight Memorial this year.  Me and my buddy Scottie are organizing this year's Candlelight Memorial, and weeee hope you will all participate.  All you have to do is light a candle, real or artificial, at or around 8:00 pm in your particular time zone, and leave it on for a while.  As lights are lit in each of the time zones, it travels around the world for all at the Rainbow Bridge to see and know that weeee are remembering them on this special day.
This is my very first Candlelight Memorial, so I'm getting lots of help from my friend Scottie, his mom Cindy, and my friend Audrey.  Weeee are remembering Peter Gurney who wrote books and has a website about guinea pigs' health.  Weeee are also remembering all of our dear friends, footed, finned, and feathered who are also at the Bridge.
I'm told that weeee have been doing this memorial since 2006, which was Peter Gurney's birthday, and that the light goes through both hemispheres, many countries, and all around the world!  It must be very important, so tell your friends to light a candle too!
Afterward, be sure to post your location here on the GPDD, or to Audrey or Cindy, so that they can make a listing of all the places where candles were lit.  You can also take of photo of the candle and you, and send it to PG_Memorial at gpdd.org  or send it to Audrey at agbmcmd at yahoo.com
