[Gpdd] PETER GURNEY MEMORIAL: three weeks away

Yes, it's already that time of year again, time for the annual Peter Gurney Memorial! It's just three weeks from today, and we hope you'll be able to join in and will tell your friends about it, too! You don't have to have a guinea pig in your life to participate. All are welcome.

This real event simply involves lighting a candle or candles at 8 p.m. in your time zone on March 9th. By doing so, you are sharing in the remembrance of guinea-pig-advocate Peter Gurney and of other friends (human, furred, finned, and feathered) who have also gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

The Digest has been holding the memorial since 2006, when Mr. Gurney passed away. As candles are lit in each time zone, the light moves around the world. (Electric and virtual candles are welcome, too!)
