[Gpdd] PETER GURNEY MEMORIAL: coming next w(h)eek!

It's less than a week before the annual Peter Gurney Memorial Candle Lighting, and we hope you will be able to join us on Thursday, March 9th at 8 p.m. in your time zone. All you have to do is light a candle (real, electric, or virtual) and leave it lit for about an hour until the next time zone takes over. In this way, our lights move around the world in memory of Peter Gurney and our other friends who have passed on.

Some lucky people on the Digest met Mr. Gurney, and we hear he was wonderful as he discussed his knowledge of and love for guinea pigs. We've been remembering him here since he passed away in 2006.

You don't have to be a member of the Digest or have a guinea pig in your life in order to join us. All are welcome, and we hope you will tell your friends, too.
